WABAUNSEE CO. - Following the Wabaunsee County Sheriff's media release regarding the arrest of the Wabaunsee High School Wrestling Coach, the USD 329-Wabaunsee Schools Superintendent has released a statement to Little Apple Post.
From Superintendent of Schools, Troy Pitsch, PHD:
'Thank you for reaching out concerning the recent arrest of Wrestling Coach Tyler Douglass. In light of the ongoing investigation, Mr. Douglass has been placed on administrative leave, prioritizing the safety of our students. We are fully cooperating with law enforcement, and updates will be provided as legally permissible.
Regarding the district's handling of this situation, decisions will be made in the best interest of our students, and any necessary updates will be communicated accordingly.'
