WABAUNSEE CO. - On Tuesday, December 19th, the Wabaunsee County Sheriff's Office released information regarding an arrest made on Monday, December 18th at the USD 329 District Offices in Alma, Kansas.

On Monday, the Wabaunsee County Sheriff's Office was contacted about multiple allegations of offenses against minors and were requested to come to the USD 329 Wabaunsee County Schools District Offices in Alma.

Upon arrival, the Wabaunsee County Sheriff's Deputies found 30-year-old, Tyler Douglass of Alma waiting for them.

Evidence obtained by Deputies at the District Office led to the arrest of Douglass, who was taken into custody without incident.

Douglass was arrested on requested charges of Contributing to a Child's Misconduct and Furnishing Alcohol to Minors.

Douglass was transported to the Wabaunsee County Jail.

Douglass has been the Wabaunsee High School wrestling coach since December 2021.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Wabaunsee County Sheriff's Office.

According to the Wabaunsee County Sheriff's Office, this is an ongoing, multi-agency investigation. No further details will be provided at this time, and all students are safe, secure and accounted for.
