Joining me on Coffee Talk are Ellie Dillon, Director and M.L. Stahl, Music Director for the Junction City Little Theater Production "Jersey Boys" on stage at the C.L. Hoover Opera House weekends Friday through Sunday November 3rd, 4th and 5th and again November 10th, 11th and 12. Curtain is 7:30 p.m. for the Friday and Saturday shows and 2 p.m. for the Sunday matinees.
"Jersey Boys" is the story of four young men from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey who came together to form the iconic 1960s rock group The Four Seasons.
The Coffee Talk interview brings insight into the over two years it took Director Dillon to acquire the rights to put "Jersey Boys" on the C.L. Hoover Opera House stage; how the storyline develops through the spring, summer, fall and winter seasons narrated by the actors playing each member of the singing group; and the unique stage presentation. Music Director Stahl says the music will be non-stop with the many hits of The Four Seasons.
