JASPER COUNTY —A Geary County man was injured in an accident just before 5:30p.m. Monday in Jasper County, Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Ford Expedition driven by William W. Miller, 46, Pawnee, was northbound on Interstate 49 two and one half miles north of Carthage.
The Ford rear-ended the towed unit of a 2018 Ram 3500 driven by Christina A. Morgan, 43, Hico, Texas. After impact the Ford traveled off the road and struck a fence.
EMS transported Miller, Morgan and a passenger in the Ram Brian C. Adams, 25, 25, Hico, Texas, to Mercy Hospital in Joplin. Miller was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
