Luther Miles Griffin was born May 19, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Sarah Johnson Griffin. He passed away at his home at the age of 71 in Abilene, Kansas on February 7, 2024.

Luther worked as a butcher and baker before serving his country in the United States Army for 15 years attaining the rank of Sergeant. He was a member of the Community Bible Church and enjoyed building and racing RC cars and doing crossword puzzles.&nbsp; On April 27, 1974 he was united in marriage to Teresa McCook in Kansas City, Missouri. Teresa survives of the home.

 Other survivors include his daughters Brandi Marie Cross (Reggie) of El Dorado, Arkansas, Kimberli Anne Hoette (Chris) of St. Peters, Missouri, brothers Randy Griffin, Leslie Griffin of Kansas City, Missouri, three grandchildren Devin Triplet, Joshua Cross, Jonathan Hoette, and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.Luther’s family has selected cremation.

 There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Bible Church and may be sent in care of the Danner Funeral Home, 501 N. Buckeye, Abilene, Kansas 67410.&nbsp;&nbsp;
