Myron “Bud” Wohler

Myron “Bud” Wohler, age 92, died at Advena Living Center in Clay Center, KS on October 23, 2022. He was born in Leonardville, KS on March 21, 1930, to Myron Sr. and Wobina (Leipersberger) Wohler. Bud moved with his parents to a farm east of Clay Center where he attended Upper Lincoln School. They later moved to the southwest side of Clay Center, where he attended Redtop also known as Blaine School through 8th grade.  He graduated from Clay Center Community High School in 1948. He married Lucille Largent on June 12, 1949. They made their home outside Clay Center.

Bud worked for Cities Service Oil Co., Riddle Quarries and substituted for the rural mail routes and city routes at Christmas time, along  with farming.  He started Grade A Dairy in 1967 and later added Angus cattle.  Bud enjoyed going to the pasture to check cows and cut the pesky little cedar trees. He also enjoyed visits from his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Upon his retirement he took up woodworking. Bud was a member of the Presbyterian Church, a former member of Dairy Farmers of America, and previously had a seat on the Coop and Rural Water Board. Brother: Ronald (Carolyn) Wohler of Morganville, K

Grandchildren: Jon Wohler, Patrick Kopfer, Jaret Wohler, Mike Kopfer, Mark Wohler, Ginger Kopfer and Luke Wohler

10 Great Grandchildren

No visitation is planned, and a private family service will take place.
