U.S. 24 pavement marking planned in Manhattan

Posted Sep 12, 2024 7:34 PM

Kansas Department of Transportation says maintenance crews will be painting pavement markings at several U.S. 24 intersections in Manhattan overnight tonight. Conditions permitting, crews will work from 1 a.m. until work is complete, or no later than 4 a.m.

The following U.S. 24 intersections will close temporarily, but not simultaneously, while crews stripe the roadway: Tuttle Creek Boulevard, McCall Road, Poyntz Avenue, Leavenworth Street, and Bluemont Avenue.

The closures will be marked with signs and barricades. There will be no signed detours and drivers will need to find alternate routes.
