<a>Kansas Department of Transportation says maintenance crews will be painting pavement markings at several U.S. 24 intersections in Manhattan overnight tonight. Conditions permitting, crews will work from 1 a.m. until work is complete, or no later than 4 a.m.</a>

The following U.S. 24 intersections will close temporarily, but not simultaneously, while crews stripe the roadway: Tuttle Creek Boulevard, McCall Road, Poyntz Avenue, Leavenworth Street, and Bluemont Avenue.&nbsp;

The closures will be marked with signs and barricades. There will be no signed detours and drivers will need to find alternate routes.
