RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating two cases of alleged theft by decepation.
ON Tuesday, officers filed a report of theft by deception in the 300 block of Bluemont Avenue and the 2700 Block of Anderson Avenue, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
Walgreens reported two unknown female suspects scammed an employee into loading gift cards without payment. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $1,596.95. Later two unknown female suspects scammed at a different Walgreens location scammed an employee into loading gift cards without payment.
The total estimated loss associated with the two case is $3,154.15
