RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities continue to investigate a pedestrian hit-and-run accident in Riley County.
Just after 2a.m. Sunday, officers filed a report of an injury accident at the intersection of Fremont Street and Central Park Road, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
A passerby found a 41-year-old man lying in the roadway. The victim sustained serious injuries from what appears to be w vehicular hit-and-run with the pedestrian.
EMS transported the victim to Via Christi for his injuries.

Just after 2a.m. Sunday, police responded to a report of a pedestrian hit-and-run near City Park in the 1100 block of Freemont, according to a social media report from the Riley County Police Department.
The 41-year-old male pedestrian was taken via Ambulance to Via Christi with serious injuries.
