RILEY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 10p.m. Monday in Riley County.
According to the Riley County Police Department activity report, a Chevrolet Camaro driven by Kirsten Wallace-Newsome, 25, of Manhattan, had crashed into a Honda Accord driven by Sohil Mamon, 19, of Manhattan in the 400 block of Bluemont Avenue.
Sohil Mamon was transported to Via Christi Hospital for treatment of injuries. Kirsten Wallace-Newsome was issued a citation for an unsafe lane change/merging. The RCPD released no additional details.
