RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect for an alleged sex crime.
Just after 2p.m. Thursday police arrested 32-year-old Luis Cortijo Abreu, 3 of Puerto Rico, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
Abreu was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. The original charge was for rape. Cortijo Abreu was issued a total bond of $60,000 and is no longer in custory, according to the RCPD.
