March 6th is the date for a chili cook-off that will be hosted by the Assassin Street Rydaz. The event will run from 7-10 p.m. at the Ogden Community Center.
The cost to compete is $10 and the last day to register is Feb. 22nd. The cost to attend on March 6th will be $10 and enjoy all you can eat chili. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. There will also be additional raffles and funding for additional money to support three charities where proceeds will be donated.
The charities include Valley View Cemetery where the funds will help upkeep the grounds and the veterans memorial stones, Women's battered shelter to help individuals who seek shelter from abusive or toxic people, and Katie's Way for children who are experiencing difficulty in their lives and need guidance and another person to show them that people care.
