There are nine candidates in the race for Manhattan City Commission where three seats will be up for election. The filing deadline was Tuesday at noon.
The candidates include Wynn Butler, Aaron Estabrook, Marcus Kidd, Kaleb James, Rich Jankovich, Monica Macfarlane, John Matta, Joseph McGraw and Usha Reddi. Butler, Estabrook and Reddi are seeking reelection.
In the UD 383 Board of Education race there are 10 candidates including Jennifer Chua, Karla Hagemeister, Kevin Harms, Betty Mattingly-Ebert, Jayme Morris-Hardeman, Teresa Parks, Steven Ruzzin, Bill Spiegel, Carl Treece and Christine Weixelman. Three seats are up for election. Hagemeister is seeking reelection.
