Loretta Bachan, 71, of Junction City, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023. A graveside service will be held at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to Friends Of Animals, Inc., P.O. Box 580, Junction City, Kansas 66441. She was born on July 3, 1951, Hammond, Indiana, to Oscar and Adeline (Passmore) McLaurin. Loretta worked at J.J. BMAR, RC Kennels, and Ekridge over the years. She loved working with dogs and owned almost 30 dogs throughout her lifetime. In 1970, she married Robert Bachan. They were married for 53 years until his passing in October of 2022. Loretta is survived by her dog, Rosie; family friends, Crystal Kausler of Junction City, Kansas, Dorothy Stewart of Chapman, Kansas, LaTisha Cantu of Manhattan, Kansas, and Richard Morrow of Cunningham, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Bachan; and her two sisters, Sandy and Loraine.&nbsp;&nbsp;
