
RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating the use of fake cash in Manhattan.
Just after 2:30p.m. Wednesday, police filed a report for fraud-counterfeiting currency and theft by deception in the 800 block of Commons Place in Manhattan according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
Target reported an unknown suspect used counterfeit bills to make a purchase. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $500.
