2 accused of Junction City couple’s murder are back in Kan. jail

GEARY COUNTY—Two suspects arrested in Michigan and accused in the murder of a couple in Junction City are back in a Kansas Jail.

According to Junction City Police, 33-year-old Steven P. Pierce and 29-year-old Kallie R. Peters have been extradited from Michigan are currently in custody at the Geary County Detention Facility.

Authorities in Michigan arrested them in Saginaw County Michigan on requested charges of Felony Murder, 2 counts of Aggravated Robbery, and 1 count of Felony Theft in connection with the deaths of  75-year-old Valerie J. Krissman and 80-year-old Roland C. Krissman.  A criminal complaint is the case said the killing happened in Junction City during the theft of the Krissman's 2006 Buick Lacrosse.

Pierce and Peters both currently have a bond set at $1,500,000.00, according to online jail records.
