Benfadean “Dee Dee” Craig

Benfadean “Dee Dee” Craig, 71, passed away October 20, 2021, at Stoneybrook Health and Rehab in Manhattan. She was born June 2, 1950, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to Henry Jr. and Anna Mae (Williams) Cobbs.  Dee Dee was a member of Refreshed and Redeemed Church of the Nazarene in Ellsworth, Ks.

Dee Dee was a social butterfly, the life of the party and enjoyed drinking with her friends.

She is survived by: children, Mary Scott and husband Lucas, Patricia Keegan, Richard Craig Jackson; grandchildren, Alec Somrak, Taylor Monnet, and Phillip Keegan; great-grandchild, Danner Somrak; siblings, Jennell Tebbetts, Eddie Ravon Jr., Victoria Pearson; and half-sister, Blanchie Cobbs Reaves.

Dee Dee was preceded in death by her parents.

Celebration of life will be from 2:00-3:30 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Strong Township Cemetery, Strong City. Family will be present. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Interim Hospice, in care of Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home, PO Box 220 Cottonwood Falls, KS 66845.
