4. hospitalized after 3 accidents in Riley County

RILEY COUNTY —Four people were injured in three separate accidents on Friday in Riley County.

Just after 8:30a.m., a 1996 Toyota Camry driven by Felicia Jefferson, 52, Manhattan, crashed   in the 2000 Block of Fort Riley Boulevard, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.

EMS transported Jefferson to Via Christi for treatment.

Just before 9a.m. Friday, a 2021 Dodge Durango driven by Lenita glanzer, 69, Randolph, turned in front of a 1999 Dodge 2500 truck driven by Kerwin Mann, 60, Barnes at the intersection of Tuttle Creek Boulevard and West Randolph Street in Randolph, according to the RCPD report.

EMS transported both drivers to Via Christi for treatment of their injuries. 

Just after noon Friday, a  2016  Chevrolet Silverado driven by Thomas Burke, 80, of Smithville Missouri, crashed with a 2019 white Ford F350 driven by Thomas Darrah, 29, of Waterville, Kansas, near the intersection of Green-Randolph Road and Tuttle Creek Boulevard in Randolph, according to the RCPD.

EMS transported Burke to Via Christi for treatment of his injuries. The RCPD also issued Burke a citation for failure to yield at a stop sign.
