Posted Mar 28, 2022 6:09 PM

Heather Marie Sekulich (Chapman, KS) passed on to the afterlife on March 26, 2022 surrounded by her family and loved ones and was showered with love that can’t be explained.

Heather was born at  Fort Riley Kansas, the daughter of Mark and Barb Sekulich and Dawn Herrod-Seidel and Andy Seidel.

Heather spent most of her life in the Chapman/Junction City area and was proud to be from the midwest and Dickinson County. She attended Chapman schools and was very proud of her days as a cheerleader and wasn’t afraid to randomly yell out a cheer. She graduated with the class of 2002. Heather was an active member of B.P.O.E. #1037 and F.O.E. 830. She was a Property manager, real estate agent, insurance agent
and was in the process of starting a Ebay business. She loved hospitality and would love to help with gatherings and show off her excellent staging skills with decorations and table centerpieces.

Heather was always full of life and had a laugh that could be heard before she was seen. Her spirit was as free as a colorful butterfly. (Some would say it was her spirit animal.) No one was a stranger to her and she would talk to and compliment random people to brighten their day. She loved summertime, the outdoors and anything that comes with it. She enjoyed the lake, beaches, swimming, camping, jet skiing, the sun on her face, and summertime bonfires with friends. One of her favorite summertime
pastimes was driving around the lake with the music turned up singing a country song.

Heather was a cherished mother, daughter, sister, niece and auntie. She was very proud of and loved to spend time with her many nieces and nephews. She was a dog mom and got immense enjoyment from spending time with her dog Tigger.

Heather leaves behind her daughter Trinity Rooks;  her grandmother Lana Pender “Gigi” Junction City KS; her parents Mark and Barb Sekulich Chapman, KS. and Dawn and Andy Seidel Leonardtown Maryland; two sisters, Amanda Fielden N.C. and Heather Myers (Jeremie) Junction City KS; two brothers Devin Herrod Leonardtown Maryland and
