Precision agriculture will be the focus of a conference at K-State

Researchers and leaders from more than 40 nations will visit Manhattan,  to learn the latest significant research and information on precision agriculture at the International Conference on Precision Agriculture.

 The conference is in partnership with the International Society of Precision Agriculture and Kansas State University. Researcher Scott Shearer, professor and chair of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering at The Ohio State University, will give the opening keynote 8 a.m. Monday, July 22, on the future of artificial intelligence-driven ag technology. Kansas State University President Richard Linton will also speak at the opening ceremony

.On Wednesday, July 24, experience K-State precision agriculture in use on the Martin Farm in Clay Center. The Martins have partnered with Ajay Sharda, K-State professor of biological and agricultural engineering, in the use of modern planting and spraying systems
