Wanda W. (White) Harris, age 90, of Manhattan, died February 10, 2022, at her residence.
She was born June 16, 1931, in the Deep Creek Community, southeast of Manhattan, the daughter of Edward and Daisy M. (Amiss) White. She graduated from Keats High School in 1949 and had attended Kansas State University.
On February 26, 1950, at the Keats Methodist Church, she was married to Walter Ned Harris. Ned preceded her in death on May 11, 2014.
Wanda was a longtime member of the Sedalia Community Church. She was also a member of the Elks Lodge in Manhattan, KS, Rock Away Beach and Forsyth, Missouri.
Survivors include two children: Sandra Harris of Manhattan and Richard Harris of Wichita, KS; two brothers: Jerry White of Salina, KS, and Don White of Norwich, KS; five grandchildren: Rachel, Jane, Walter, Margaret and Daniel; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Wanda was also preceded in death by two children: W. Russell Harris and Shirley Candillo.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 15th, at the Sedalia Community Church with Reverend Kevin Larson officiating. Interment will follow in the Sedalia Cemetery.
