Jennifer Jean Hall

In the early morning hours of July 24th, 1980, a small star was born on Earth. Over the next 43 years this star grew big and bright, and was added to the Heavens on December 4th, 2023 to share her light with others.

Jennifer Jean Hall was born to Deanna Johnson Hall and Dan Hall in Manhattan. The first of three children in the family, she was later joined by brother Brad and sister Carrie.

Jennifer is survived by her parents Deanna and Dan, brother Brad and wife Elizabeth Gedmark of Nashville, Tennessee, and sister Carrie and husband Will Lawrence of San Rafael, California. Her surviving niece and nephew are Maria Hall and Christopher Hall of Nashville.

In addition to the immediate family she is survived by Uncle Dwight and Roberta Johnson, Aunt Kathy and Kent Foster, Uncle Jeff Hall and Sharon Grey, and Uncles Bill Hall and Tim Hall. Plus first cousins Molly Petrik, Kelly Wendland, Ben Johnson, and Winsome Hall and their families. And all of her Hall relatives from Pennsylvania and Johnson relatives from Kansas.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandparents Wilfrid Jr and Dorothy Schultes Johnson, and Charles and Ruth Myers Hall, all of rural Manhattan.

The family will receive friends from Noon to 12:45 P.M. Friday, December 29th, at the First Lutheran Church.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 29th, at the First Lutheran Church, 930 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, with Reverends Stephen Haverlah and Kevin Larson officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Mariadahl Cemetery in Olsburg, KS.
