The City of Manhattan has announced that beginning Tuesday, February 17, The Anderson Avenue project will transitioning to a new construction phase resulting in a switch in traffic control configuration.
Crews will switch traffic onto the new concrete pavement on the south side of Anderson Avenue between Connecticut Avenue and Timberlane Drive (Phase 1A) so that work can begin on the north side (Phase 1B). A crossover will be present just east of Timberlane Drive.
Please use extreme caution when traveling through the work zone on Anderson Avenue or find another route on Tuesday, February 17 for the safety of construction crews modifying the traffic control.

Traffic Impacts:Expect light to moderate traffic and some delays on Anderson Avenue, College Avenue, College Heights Road, Connecticut Avenue.
Timeline:The estimate for Phase 1B is 3-4 months to complete this work, depending on the weather.
