MANHATTAN — Aaron Watson will perform at Kansas State University's McCain Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan 29, as part of the McCain Performance Series. For more than 20 years, Watson, a Texas native, has traveled across the country as an independent artist with the spirit of the American frontier in his veins.

The Division of Communications and marketing said that Watson has reached the Top 10 of Billboard's Country Album chart five separate times, including his 2015 set, "The Underdog," which landed at number one. Matching sold-out shows nationwide with homegrown hits, he’s followed suit at country radio, making history in 2017 with "Outta Style" and "Run Wild Horses.

Tickets are available online at mccain.k-state.edu or at the ticket office in the McCain Auditorium lobby from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays. Tickets are also available by phone at 785-532-6428 during the same hours. Tickets for youth 17 and younger are half price for this show. Discounted tickets to this show are also available for K-State faculty and staff, seniors 62 and older, and members of the military. Original IDs will be required to obtain discounts — third-party, photocopied or web-based IDs are not accepted.
