RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities investigating a stabbing have reported an arrest.
Just after 6:30p.m. Friday, police arrested 45-year-old Henry Lee Morgan of Manhattan on requested charges of aggravated battery- knowingly using physical contact in an angry/rude manner with a weapon, according to a media release.
Earlier Friday, officers responded to a call for service in the 200 block of N. 9th in Manhattan. Once on the scene officers found a 34-year-old man had been stabbed. The victim was transported to Via Christie via EMS and was later transferred to a larger hospital for more acute care.
Morgan is being held on a bond of $100,000.
