Larry A. Bratton 84 of Abilene passed away on Monday October 20th at Tallgrass Healthcare Campus in Junction City. Larry was born in Wichita Kansas on October 16, 1941, the son of Lloyd and Ruby Bratton. After high School Larry attended both Kansas State University as well as The University of Kansas.
On May 15 1982 Larry married Cynthia (Cindy) Uhrich in Abilene. Their Love lasted 43 years. Larry served in the United States Navy and had served during the Vietnam conflict as a medic attached to a Marine unit. After his military service Larry worked as security guard at several facilities.
Larry is survived by his wife Cindy of the home. His daughters Tammi Jo Weaver, Tina Joslin, Sons Samuel Bratton and Joe Bratton (Brandee) and his sister Linda Bartholemew. Larry had 6 grandchildren as well as 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his sister Arlene Atwood, and Grandson Samuel Allen Bratton.
