City announces appointments

Last week, commissioners approved several board and committee appointments, continuing the work of supporting city programs, planning, preservation, and community partnerships.

Commissioners approved two reappointments to the Historic Resources Board. Garric Baker was reappointed to a three-year Historic Preservation Representative-Architect term, and Michael Hoover was reappointed to a three-year Building Trades term. Both terms begin May 1, 2026, and expire April 30, 2029.

For the Manhattan Urban Area Planning Board, commissioners approved the appointments of Debbie Nuss and Peter Oppelt to three-year terms beginning May 1, 2026, and ending April 30, 2029.

The Commission also approved the reappointment of Dantia MacDonald to the Partner City Advisory Board for a three-year term effective immediately and expiring June 30, 2029.
