Marion Waldraudt Hayden peacefully passed away in her husband’s arms on November 10, 2023, at the age of 62 at her residence in Junction City, Kansas. She was born on August 24, 1961, in Furth, Germany.Marion will be dearly missed by her husband, Dave Hayden; her daughters, Amanda Vilander (Airrion) and Denise Howard (Jacob); her son, Naythan Hall; her stepdaughter Tabbitha Hayden (Larry); grandchildren, Caden Reece, Larry and Lorenzo Jones and her best friend and sister Dorine Royse (Frank).
Marion was a loving and kindhearted person always radiating warmth and compassion to those around her. Her outgoing nature touched the lives of many, and her memory will forever be treasured by those who had the privilege of knowing her. Marion enjoyed her time working at Stacy’s restaurant and Cracker Barrel.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in honor of Marion at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share stories, memories and pay tribute to Marion’s life.
Marion was proceeded in death by her mother Anneliese Lincoln and cherished Oma Gertrude Lange, who influenced her early years. During this time of loss, let us remember Marion for the love and joy she brought into our lives. May her spirit continue to inspire us to be kind and compassionate to one another. .A special thanks to Father Kerry for his spiritual guidance and Novella Olson for all the times spent visiting with Marion bringing her back to her German heritage.
