Manhattan City officials said Friday that closure of Oak Street at Westwood Road is going to extend beyond the expected completion date of February 2nd due to weather, site conditions, and subcontractor coordination. Contractors indicated they will need an additional three to four weeks to complete the work. The roadway should should re-open around the end of February.
Motorists should use the designated detour route highlighted in the map below for neighborhood and Sunset Zoo access.
