Armed Forces Day was the focus of a brief ceremony in downtown Junction City on Saturday. The Day recognizes all branches of the military.
Fort Riley Garrison Command Sgt. Major John Adkerson credited the support from the community, and noted "our soldiers feel it."
The ceremony was followed by the Main Street Market.
