Chloe Brown, 83 of Abilene passed away October 19, 2025. She was born July 11, 1942 in Junction City, the daughter of William Fredrick and Joetta Harloff. She married Grant Lee (Skip) Schiller on February 23, 1970. They lived in Longford for most their marriage. He passed away February 22, 2000.

She later married Richard Brown in March of 2001. They lived on the their farm by Wakefield, Kansas. He passed away May 13, 2002. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Candy Ray Stiffler, brother, Roy Harrloff and two half siblings, Clarence Harloff and Mildie Harloff. She leaves behind her children, Robin Ausherman of Abilene, Kansas; Terry Diehl of Abilene, Kansas; Jonna McKeivier (Greg) of Clay Center, Kansas; Dennis Stevens of Junction City, Kansas; Gymy Uptain of Huntsville, Alabama. Her grandchildren: Cindy Kohl (Gavin) of Oakhill, Kansas; April Kitt (Bob) of Clay Center, Kansas; Misty Hoes (Beau) of Clay Center, Kansas; David Hedberg (Barby) of Abilene, Kansas; Charles Schiller of Manchester, Kansas; Cody Diehl (Leah) of Abilene, Kansas; Alan Hortan of McPherson, Kansas; Charles Hortan of Belleville, Kansas; Skylar Stevens of Vernal, Utah; Garrett Stevens of Manhattan, Kansas; Tristan Stevens of Junction City, Kansas; Joe Uptain of Georgia; Kevin Uptain of Georgia and Thomas Bedwell. Thirty-nine Great-Grandchildren and Seven Great-Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Danner Funeral Home in Abilene. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5-7 P.M., at Danner Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials be given to the Hospice of Dickinson County. Memorials may be dropped off or mailed to Danner Funeral Home, 501 N. Buckeye, Abilene, Kansas 67410.
