RILEY COUNTY —A Leonardville man was injured in an accident just before 7:30a.m. Friday.
According to the Riley County Police Department activity report, a 2009 Pontiac G8 driven by Trystin McCoy, 20, traveled off the road on a curve near the intersection of Barton Road and Falcon Road.
The car went airborne, struck a utility pole and traveled over a barbed-wire fence into a field and McCoy was ejected from the car.
Life Star airlifted McCoy to Stormont Vail in Topeka for treatment of a fractured leg, according to the RCPD.
