
Manhattan — Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire at a home in Manhattan.
At 4:17 a.m. on Wednesday, the Manhattan Fire Department was dispatched to 2112 Farmingdale Ct. for a report of a structure fire, according to Assistant Chief Sam Dameron.
Upon arrival, crews found a two-story residential structure fully involved with fire. The fire reached a second alarm before it was contained within an hour and twenty minutes.
The two-story structure was not occupied at the time of the fire. Loss to the structure is $230,000 and the value of the contents has not been determined., according to Dameron. The owner is listed as Lori Mitchell of the same address. The fire cause is under investigation at this time.
