Riley County police have provided traffic advice for those traveling around or out of Bill Snyder Family Stadium around the end of the K-State Football game against Nevada on Saturday. You should expect longer than usual travel times due to the road construction in the surrounding areas.

Construction effecting gameday traffic

- Reconstruction of Kimball Avenue between Candlewood Drive and Seth Child Rd. (K-113) west of Bill Snyder Family Stadium has reduced traffic on Kimball to two lanes head-to-head in the area.

- The northbound entrance ramp to Seth Child Rd. is closed, traffic wanting to go northbound will be diverted at Browning Ave. to Marlatt Ave., then west to Seth Child Rd.

- Manhattan residents be advised that traffic eastbound on Kimball Ave. will be diverted for a short time to allow exiting football traffic to utilize both lanes through the construction zone onto Scenic Dr. out to K-18 and I-70.

Other main construction

- Wildcat Creek bridge replacement on Fort Riley Blvd. (K-18) near the intersection of Richards Dr. which has reduced traffic to two lanes head-to-head.

- Fort Riley Blvd. east and westbound from Juliette Ave. to 10th St. inside lanes will be closed.

Note

- For ER visits one lane of College Ave. will always remain open for ambulance and emergency room traffic. For non-ambulance visits to the ER, take Claflin Rd. to College Ave., or Marlatt Ave. to College Ave. to get to the hospital.
