Arraignment for Junction City Commissioner Al ( Alovence ) Gordon on a misdemeanor charge of Domestic Battery was held Monday in Geary County District Court. A not guilty plea was entered for Gordon and a Nov. 14 jury trial was scheduled in the case.

The charge stems from an incident involving Gordon and Corrieyonna Trice.&nbsp;&nbsp;Authorities were called to their home on Jan. 23. Trice has earlier testified about a fight with Gordon revolving around hair clips that she had laid out to do her hair. The clips wound up in a shopping bag carried by Gordon with a dispute over who had initially possessed the clips. Gordon and Trice had been in a relationship for nearly seven years.

On May 19 Trice also entered a not guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge of Domestic Battery. stemming from the case. A jury trial was scheduled for her on September 15.
