Riley County police have reported that the number of crashes since 2017 on Tuttle Creek Blvd. between Marlatt Ave. and Seth Child Rd. have included a total of 101 non-injury, 40 injury, and 3 fatal crashes. 2022 has already equaled the highest number of injury crashes in a year during the last four years and it's only June.

If you're driving through this area police advised:  Don't speed- Use your blinkers- Keep your distance from other cars- Pay attention to your surroundings- Check traffic coming from the opposite direction before entering an intersection- If you're view is obstructed by another car turning, wait until they have cleared. Kansas Department of Transportation - Northeast Kansas is working on making some improvements to this area but until those arrive, be vigilant while driving through this stretch of Tuttle Creek Blvd.
