MANHATTAN, Kan. - The Riley County Health Department announced five additional COVID-19 related deaths in its most recent report. The individuals ranged in age from 46-85. No further details were released about the deceased. The five deaths brings the total for the pandemic to 28 within Riley County.
Additionally, RCHD announced 127 newly identified cased of COVID-19, with 306 recoveries since the last report on Friday.
There are currently 12 positive patients housed at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan, with one patient in the ICU.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 5.724 total positive cases in Riley County, with 361 active cases at the moment.
There have also been 5,335 total recovered cases in Riley County since the beginning of the pandemic.
