Greater Manhattan Community Foundation
The Butler Family Community Foundation has announced the recipients of its Fall 2025 grant cycle, awarding funding to nonprofit organizations across Manhattan, Kansas; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Seattle, Washington.
Established in 2018 through the generosity of the late Bernie Butler’s family, the Butler Family Community Foundation partners with the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation (GMCF) to support initiatives that foster wellness, education, innovation, and creativity in the family’s three hometown communities.
This fall, the Foundation awarded:
- 17 grants in Manhattan, KS
- 17 grants in Minneapolis, MN
- 21 grants in Seattle, WA
- 8 grants to other states
Together, these grants reflect the Foundation’s commitment to investing in communities through projects that align with its core values, including:
