RILEY COUNTY— The Riley County Police Department has arrested a registered sex offender in connection with an investigation involving sexual exploitation of a child, according to a media release.
As a result of the investigation, Phillip Andrew Dews, 32, of Manhattan, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Manhattan.
He is being held on a $1,000,000 bond on requested charges that include five counts of violating the offender registration act, five counts of perjury, four counts of aggravated violation of the offender registration act, one count of sexual exploitation of a child; possess media of child under the age of 18, and one count of aggravated internet trading in child pornography.
