FORT RILEY - Earlier this summer, Fort Riley said goodbye to Col. Richard Ikena and welcomed Col. Jeffrey Pickler during a change of command ceremony at Cavalry Parade Field.
Maj. Gen. John V. Meyer, Commanding General of the 1st Infantry Division and Fort Riley hosted the change of command ceremony.
Col. Richard Ikena relinquished his command of DIVARTY, a position he held since June 2021. Ikena took over as the commander of the Mission Command Training Program at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
Col. Jeffrey Pickler takes over for Col. Ikena as the DIVARTY commander. Pickler most recently completed a War College Fellowship at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies where he served as the Marshall Center Chief of Staff.
