Kennard “Kenny” Burton Baker, SR went to be with the Lord on October 18, 2021. He was 86 years old and was born on June 22, 1935 in Powhatan Point, Ohio.

He is survived by his children Andrew (Robin) Baker, Cindy Adams, Kennard Baker JR, Elizabeth (Becky) Helmsing, Sherry McMasters, and Kimberly McMasters, 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 brothers Harry Baker, and Floyd Baker, sister Gladys Harlan, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years Gladys (Whittington) Baker, his son Halbert “Pogo” Baker, his parents Lee and Nancy (Doty) Baker, brothers Halbert “Fuzz” Baker, Harold “Bud” Baker, Francis “Bo” Baker, Aaron “Tim” Baker, sisters Della Hranko, Mabel “Cookie” Brunner, Velma Gallaher, Naomi “Oma” Mihalek, and Wanda Mihalek, grandsons Shane Baker, and Timothy Harrigan, great grandson Stone Harrigan.

Kenny was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict Era, a member of the VFW and American Legion.

Honoring Kenny’s wishes there will be no public services. Arrangements entrusted to the Londeen-Overlease Funeral Chapel in Chapman, Kansas.
