Gordon Eugene Eaves, age 66, passed away January 13, 2024 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan.
He was born on September 25, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan and was raised in Missouri and lived in Kansas.
Gordon served four years in the United States Army. He retired from the U.S. Post Office, where he was a letter carrier in Wamego, Kansas. Gordon was an avid fan of both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, and also his great-nephew Brock Eaves.
Gordon is survived by his brother Michael Eaves (Rhonda) of Wamego, Kansas; his nephew Matthew Eaves and his family; also, his sister Carol Hajduk (James) of Stafford, Virginia, and their children Gregory and Jennifer.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Gordon be made to the Good Shepherd Homecare and Hospice House, Inc. Contributions may be sent in care of the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas 66502. There are no events scheduled at this time.
