The National Weather Service said that thunderstorms will develop Wednesday afternoon, and continue overnight. If the warm front remains south of the area the primary hazard would be large hail. If the warm front moves northward into portions of east central KS Wednesday afternoon, then the primary hazard from thunderstorms will be large hail, damaging wind gusts and perhaps a few tornadoes.
The storms will move out of the region after Midnight. .
Another round of strong to severe storms are possible on Friday.
