MANHATTAN - Just before 12:30 pm on Tuesday, Kansas State University sent out a community alert to avoid Denison Avenue between Olympic and Kerr Drives.

According to Manhattan Fire Department's Deputy Fire Chief Ryan Almes, a trash truck spilled nearly 20 gallons of hydraulic fluid onto the roadway.
