Riley County health has identified nine new COVID-19 cases and three additional recoveries in Week 13 (March 27 - April 2). There are currently 16 known active COVID-19 cases in the county.
An additional death was also verified through the Office of Vital Statistics last week. The patient was a 101 year-old female who tested positive on January 11 and passed away February 9. She was fully vaccinated. Her passing represents the 80th COVID-related death in Riley County.
One COVID-19 patient is currently hospitalized at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan.
