Viona F. Schmidt, 102, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at her home in Junction City, KS. A Celebration of Life service will take place with Johnson Funeral Home in Junction City, date to be announced. The youngest child and only daughter to Helena (Lena) Franta and George Franta in Lost Springs, KS. She grew up with her 2 brothers George Jr (Cat) and Herb Franta in Herrington, KS. In 1940 she married Albert Ray Schmidt and lived on the Schmidt farm in Woodbine, KS, moving to Junction City with Ray and her two sons, Steven and Tracy in 1963.&nbsp;&nbsp;
