RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas felon on multiple allegations after an arrest.
Just after 10a.m. Thursday, police arrested 42-year-old David Huffman of Ogden, in the 200 block of North Walnut Street in Ogden, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
Huffman was jailed on a Riley County District Court warrant for identity theft specifically to defraud or receive benefits, theft of property or services, forgery through distributing or issuing a written instrument, making false information, theft by deception, forgery via making or altering a written instrument, and giving a worthless check. Huffman was issued a total bond of $40,000.
Huffman has previous convictions for making a false writing, burglary and drug possession, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
He is no longer in custody, according to the RCPD.
