Robert M. Quinn, age 64, of Manhattan, died August 19, 2021, at his residence. He was born September 2, 1956, in Manhattan, one of 12 children born to Jerry Patrick and Elsie Marie (Covey) Quinn. Robert was a life-long resident of Manhattan, and grew up attending Seven Dolors Catholic Church. He worked on the family farm and then worked at Kansas State University for grounds, retiring in 2011. Robert enjoyed fishing and his dog Jake, but the time he loved was spent with his family and especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his two children: Tisha Fraser of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Michael Quinn and his wife Amy of Manhattan; four grandchildren: Jauslyn, Gracie, Preston and Jackson; and a large extended family. A Celebration of Robert’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 26th, at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Chapel. Private family inurnment will be in the Sunrise Cemetery in Manhattan. The family would love for everyone to come to a gathering following the services in Long’s Park.
