The National Weaher Service said that most of the rain and storms will remain south of the area through the weekend. There will be widely scattered showers and thunderstorms possible Friday through Sunday. A few storms along and southeast of the Kansas Turnpike on Saturday may be strong to severe with hail up to quarter size and gusty winds.
