Geary County Fire announced that about 8:18 Sunday morning they respsonded to a grass fire, possibly threatening a structure with animals inside.
Upon arrival, units were able to keep the fire to two wood piles and away from any structures.
Check any previous burns that you have had in the previous week. The wind will stir up the embers.
